INTERNSHIPS INTO PRACTICE

INSTITUTIONAL INTERNSHIPS 2021

CHRIST UNIVERSITY

CHRIST UNIVERSITY, BANGALORE was selected as an institutional partner for internships in India.

DIXON SCHOLARSHIPS was the stipend partner for the internships.

All participants were given the opportunity to participate as delegates at the UN conference on:

“Asia-Pacific United Nations Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum: The New Decade of Action?”. The Forum was be held virtually from 1 - 4 June 2021 while Pre-Forum side event sessions were held on 28 and 31 May 2021. This year’s Forum was co-organized by the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights (UNWG), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM)

The following are the topics that have been chosen for the internship research programs:

TOPIC: trategies for the restoration of heritage buildings: A case of Raisen Fort in Bhopal, India

3. BSc in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Botany (4BCB)

Oncogenes and tumour suppressor genes in humans

4. Computer Science, Mathematics and Electronics (4CME)

Music for social change: A content analysis of Marathi Folk songs

LAW & JUSTICE, GENEVA, SWITZERLAND

Contribution to the fight against pregnancies in schools for poverty reduction as part of sustainable development 


MBA RESEARCH, CHENNAI, INDIA

Blockchain technology, and the economical impact

UNADAP INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS - INDIA & DIXON SCHOLARSHIPS

Christ University, Bangalore was selected for the international program, from Bangalore, India. Christ University is a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI).

4 scholars were selected from over 25,000 students, by a selection committee, to research under UNADAP. The funding was sponsored by DIXON SCHOLARSHIPS.

A contained ceremony was held at Christ University.

UNAI is a United Nations initiative to align institutions of higher education, scholarship and research with the United Nations and with each other.

UNADAP works with various institutions for higher learning and partners with DIXON SCHOLARSHIPS, for the purpose of peace and harmony amongst all humankind.
